We are about 4 1/2 hours into our 14 hour plane ride to Dubai, and let me tell you this Emirates airline is quite fancy! We each have our own TV's which comes with hundreds of TV shows and movies, a complimentary toothbrush which I already used after drinking the free red wine :), and even a hot towel before take off. We are all feeling super excited for this crazy adventure but I don't think it will quite sink in until we get past all of this traveling! JD, Melissa, and myself just finished our last final this morning and rushed to pack before heading to the airport...so we are definitely feeling the fatigue set it. We should be landing in Dubai around 8:00 PM their time (which I believe is around 8:00 AM Pacific Time. We will then be heading to the airport quite early the next morning to catch our 10 hour flight to Zimbabwe which will be followed by a five hour drive to finally reach our destination in Karoi, Zimbabwe. We can't believe the time has finally come for this adventure to begin, but we are all so ready to learn a ton and hopefully create some positive changes in some lives along the way. We hope to be posting daily but we are unsure of what our internet access is going to be like, so stay tuned :) Thank you to everyone who helped make this trip possible for all of us. Here we go... :)
